************************************

NOTE: All of the tracks done under the SAFER Barrier Project are distinguished by having a "_nextel" extension on the end of the track name. This way you will know that all the tracks with this extentsion are multiplayer compatible. If for some reason, you have compatibility issues, either the track you downloaded, or the track located on the server you're trying to connect to is not a genuine SAFER Barrier Project track.

[1] IMPORTANT -- BEFORE YOU INSTALL!!!
====================================

Because this track is more than a cosmetic update, and Sandbox was used in order to add new textures and 3d shapes, this track is not multiplayer compatible with the original Papyrus tracks.
This track is, however multiplayer compatible with exact copies of itself. YOUR SERVER MUST BE HOSTING THIS EXACT TRACK <talladega_nextel06_br> IN ORDER FOR YOU TO USE IT IN ONLINE PLAY.

[2] HOW TO INSTALL THE TRACK
====================================

After downloading the Dega06_br2.exe file from the website, simply run the installer and follow the prompts. The installer will automatically place the track into the NASCAR Racing 2003 Season\tracks directory by default.

[3] FEATURES
====================================

Here is a list of the things that have been updated to the Talladega SuperSpeedway track for NR2003 :

1) SAFER Barriers have been installed on the walls of the turns with appropriate signage on them. (The way the cars react when hitting the walls have been adjusted) - Credit to Lastlap for the NEW SAFER Barrier wall textures !!!

2) ALL NEW track textures have been applied in accordance to the repaving for 2006.

3) The track has been made smoother with more grip applied as appropriate.

4) A Gatorade Victory Lane has been installed in the appropriate area as well as pit road access to it.

5) Appropriate grass logos have been applied to the frontstretch.

6) Pit lines have been added to the pitboxes appropriately.

7) Union 76 logos and signage have been changed over to Sunoco.

8) Cones have been added to entrance & exit of pit road.

9)Pit wall openings have been applied to allow access to the garage area.

10) ALL NEW cameras have been applied.

11)The way the aircraft (i.e. blimp, helicopters) fly in the air have been editted.

12) All of the information that was edited in the TalladegaBR track released by Brian Ring has been copied over to our Nextel updated Talladega 2006. This results in more of the advantage being in the higher lanes than the normal low lanes by default.

THIS VERSION IS A WORK-IN-PROCESS. OTHER UPDATES WILL BE MADE WHEN APPROPRIATE.

[4] KNOWN ISSUES
====================================

Spotter announced pace car is in twice = Fixed a bad f section

Spotter did not announce merge point properly = fixed f sections and adjusted ini accordingly

Black flag upon entering pits = Moved AppRule points to accurate places and fixed a broken f section

The AI is functional but cars in the extreme high line may accidentally scrape the outside wall on occasion. This is due to the fact that when Brian edited the LP lines there were no SAFER Barriers installed. I have done some testing and found that this issue is not enough concern to warrant an LP edit at this time. This track is designed more for online league use where as to provide better side by side drafting.

Users on lower-end video cards or processors may experience a hit in frame rates due to the large amount of textures included in this track.

Multiplayer compatible ONLY with other unmodified copies of "talladega_nextel06_br" (See topic # 1 in this ReadMe).
